The Prosecuting Attorney is a constitutional officer in the State of Indiana. Elkhart County is located in the 34th Judicial Circuit of Indiana. Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney Curtis T. Hill, Jr. was elected to office on November 5, 2002, after having served as deputy prosecuting attorney. Prior to January 1, 2003, the Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney was a part-time position. Mr. Hill established a full-time prosecution office devoted to the service of law enforcement and citizens of Elkhart County.
