On this site you will find information about the responsibilities of the criminal trial division and an interactive flow-chart describing the steps a case takes as it progresses in the criminal justice process.
The investigative and organized crime/drug enforcements division provides users with information on the most wanted criminals in Elkhart County. Information on cold case homicides is available with a section for you to provide us with tips on criminal cases. In addition, important links can be found on the site pertaining to street drugs and gang activity.
The prosecutor’s office offers a variety of services to the public. The Child Support Enforcement Division assists parents in obtaining child support from delinquent parents. The Victim Assistance division aids persons who have been victims of crime. In January of 2004 we created a Traffic Infraction Deferral Program to assist persons who have recently received traffic tickets.
