Turner-Berger, 22, of Goshen, and Daniel Pennington, 30, of Goshen, from the May 16th death investigation of 17-month old Mariah Gibson of Goshen. After a complete review of all the available facts, the decision was made to file additional charges of “Neglect of a Dependent-Causing Death”, a Class A felony, against both defendants.  At this time both defendants are in custody at the Elkhart County Law Enforcement Corrections Complex. The Initial Hearing will be June 2, 2011, in Superior Court #3.             “Under Indiana law, all persons arrested for a criminal offense are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”***
