Media Contact: Curtis T. Hill, Jr. (574) 296-1888

On September 28, 2016, a review of the facts and circumstances surrounding the arrest of Amber Pasztor will be conducted by an Elkhart County Magistrate to determine whether there was “probable cause”, or legal justification, for the arrest.

A review for probable cause is done via a written affidavit which is reviewed by a Judge or Magistrate. No public testimony will take place during this review.

The Magistrate normally conducts probable cause reviews between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m, daily. After the review, the Affidavit becomes public record and should be available at the Clerk of Elkhart Superior Court No. 1 sometime later this afternoon.

Formal charges are expected to be filed later this week. At this time, no additional details will be provided.
