Hill, Jr. - 296-1888 The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney announced today that charges have been filed in the Elkhart Superior Court No. 6 against Robert W. Revoir, age 39, of Goshen, Indiana, for Impersonation of a Law Enforcement Officer, a Class D Felony, as well as Unlawful Use of Body Armor, also a Class D Felony. The charge stems from an April 15, 2009 incident, wherein the Elkhart Police Department received a complaint of two white males in the 300 block of Chapman Avenue armed with guns, wearing bulletproof vests, and telling people that they were with the SheriffÂs Department. The two individuals were reported to be in a silver Dodge Neon, which was later located by Elkhart Police and was occupied by Robert Revoir, as well as Justin Shank, age 27, of Elkhart, Indiana. Revoir faces up to three (3) years incarceration on each of the two counts charged, if convicted. Justin ShankÂs case remains under review with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney pending a determination of charges. * * *
