Unit officers, assisted by the Elkhart Police Department Special Response Team (SRT) served a search warrant at 216 E. Indiana Avenue on Tuesday, October 2nd at approximately 8:30pm.Elkhart County I.C.E Unit personnel developed intelligence information which alleged that crack cocaine was being distributed from this residence by an unidentified black male.Through investigation it was determined that a subject that had been featured as a Most Wanted person this past summer may in fact be the person allegedly dealing crack cocaine.Officers located and arrested Shawn A. Wilson Jr., AKA: Ace, residing at 216 E. Indiana Avenue, Elkhart. He was booked into the Elkhart County Jail for an arrest warrant that had been issued in June of 2007. His bond on two counts of Delivery of Cocaine had been set at $150,000. Additional charges of Delivery of Cocaine, less than 3 grams, have been filed by the Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and the bond on the new charge is $250,000. During the search officers found evidence of suspected crack cocaine and other items associated with the distribution of illegal drugs. Wilson faces up to 50 years in prison.The Elkhart County Interdiction and Covert Enforcement Unit (ICE) is comprised of officers from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, Elkhart Police Department, Goshen Police Department and the Nappanee Police Departmentsandquot;Under Indiana law, all persons arrested for a criminal offense are innocent until proven guilty in a court of lawandquot;
