The cards advertised an escort service headquartered in South Bend, Indiana. The card also indicated that there was a web site featuring the female escorts, at ebonytaylor.com. Information was developed that indicated that in fact the escort service was a front for prostitution. Investigator Dave Gizzi of the Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and Det Don Curl of the Indiana State Police and Investigators from the Berrien County ProsecutorÂs office continued their investigation and confirmed on several occasions that female employees of Ebony Taylor Escort Service were acting as prostitutes in Elkhart County and other northern Indiana and southwest lower Michigan communities.The investigation into the ongoing illegal activity of prostitution led back to a residence in St. Joe County. On February 15th Investigator Gizzi, Det Curl and other Indiana State Police officers obtained a search warrant for a residence at The warrant was served at 1:30pm. At that location officers found evidence of the escort service operations. They also found marijuana, in excess of 30 grams, drug scales and approximately $370 in cash. They also seized business records, including computer files which listed over 200 clients names and other identifying information. Employee names and employment records were seized. Tujana Crowe, AKA: Ebony Taylor, age 37, of 1135 Charges are currently under review in Elkhart County for Promoting Prostitution, a Class C Felony. A conviction on a Class C Felony can lead to up to 8 years in prison. The investigation is continuing and additional arrests for prostitution are anticipated.ÂThe most fascinating discovery was the list of clients for this so called service. We will be examining that information closely and investigators plan on contacting persons named on these lists. ***Meade Street, South Bendwas arrested and taken to the St. Joe County Jail.
